Dry-Erase Chore Checklist

Ever have one of those days where you keep getting distracted? Need to do your daily cleaning, but need something to keep you on task? I am definitely having one of those days today and decided to come up with a little chore chart to help me out! I know I know, maybe making this blog post is just another distraction from getting my work done, but whatev.

So what I did was use Photoshop to make this chart by using a digital background (I used a freebie from www.silkescraps.com), a cute digital tag (I used one I got from everydaymomideas.blogspot.com) and a little box brush I made myself--I know you can find some sort of box on a digital scrapbooking site or something like that, or if you want mine I can try to send it to you. If you are the traditional scrapbooking type, you can totally make this using real scrapbook paper and embellishments.

Anyway, so I just printed out my design, trimmed the edges to fit my 8x10 frame and there you go! Now you can use a dry-erase marker to check off the boxes as you go. As you can see, my list didn't QUITE get done but that's because I was too busy making the chart...but there's always tomorrow, right??

P.S. If anyone wants a blank copy of this chart so you can fill in your own chores, I may post a link to download if I get enough comments wanting it! Let me know!

Love this! We have a laminated chore chart, but this looks like it would be much easier to wipe off. Thanks for sharing!
